The Waiver Inbox, explained
The Waiver Inbox is a dedicated email address for your LienDone workspace. Forward a signed lien waiver PDF to it, from anyone, and it's automatically filed in your dashboard, no Send & Sign request, no retyping. It's for waivers that arrive outside your normal workflow, not a replacement for sending requests through LienDone.
What problem this solves
Send & Sign covers the sub who clicks your link and signs on their phone. It doesn't cover the sub who already has a signed PDF, from their own template, a paper form they scanned, or a waiver you sent them some other way, and just emails it to you like they always have.
Without a place for that PDF to land, it sits in your personal inbox, gets buried, and never becomes part of your compliance record. The Waiver Inbox exists so both paths end up in the same place: everything you're holding, whether it came through a signing link or arrived by email, lives in one dashboard.
How to set it up
Go to Settings and find the Waiver Inbox card. LienDone generates a unique forwarding address the first time you open it, something like a1b2c3d4e5f6@inbox.liendone.com. Copy it.
Share that address with anyone who might send you a waiver outside of Send & Sign, a subcontractor, a supplier, your own office staff. There's nothing to install and no account for them to create; they just address an email to it the way they'd address any other email.
What happens when a PDF arrives
Forward or send an email with a PDF attached to your address. It shows up in your Inbox dashboard automatically, usually within seconds, marked Unreviewed.
From there you can tag it to a project and subcontractor (which also flips it to Tagged), run the same compliance check the public audit tool uses to confirm it meets your state's statutory language, download the original PDF, or archive it once you're done. An email with no PDF attached still shows up, flagged so you know someone reached out but forgot the attachment, rather than silently disappearing.
