Mid-market GCs lose 12 days a month chasing lien waiver signatures. LienDone fixes that loop with a single link, no subcontractor account, and a dashboard that turns green when the payment can move.

Why we built it

The construction payment cycle is broken at the same place every time: someone in accounting forwards a PDF, the sub prints it, signs it, scans it, emails it back, and a week passes. Multiply that by 30 subs on three projects and you have a full-time job that nobody hired for.

Existing tools either price out small GCs (Textura at $24K+ a year) or trap subs behind a login wall (Procore, Siteline). The login wall is the killer. Subs refuse to sign up to yet another app, so compliance rates stay around 35% and double-payment risk stays high.

LienDone takes the opposite stance: the GC has an account; the sub does not. The sub clicks a link, reviews the statutory waiver pre-filled with their data, draws a signature, and submits. Two minutes. The signed PDF lands in the GC's dashboard, the compliance grid turns green, and payment can release.

What we believe

Three things we will not compromise on

  • No login wall for subs

    Tokenized signing links. The biggest reason waiver compliance fails is the account requirement. Gone.

  • Statutory forms, verbatim

    California, Texas, and Nevada use the exact statutory text required by their codes. Other states use LAWA-compliant standard language. No legal surprises.

  • ESIGN Act, by default

    Every signed PDF carries an audit footer with the signing IP, timestamp, and unique token. Legally enforceable evidence under 15 U.S.C. § 7001.
